Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sanva, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including members, coaches, and visitors. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at support@sanva.app. You must provide accurate, current information when registering.

3. Subscription & Billing

Sanva offers a 7-day free trial on all plans. After the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless cancelled. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually depending on the plan you selected. You can cancel at any time — access will continue until the end of the current billing period. Prices are displayed in EUR; your bank may convert if your card is denominated in another currency. Refunds for partial billing periods are not provided except where required by applicable law.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

When you book a session with a coach, payment is taken at the time of booking and the booking is confirmed immediately — no separate approval from the coach is required.

Rescheduling. Either you or your coach can reschedule a booked session free of charge up to 24 hours before its start time, directly from the dashboard. Your payment carries over to the new time — you are not charged again. Within 24 hours of the session, rescheduling is not available on the platform; please message your coach directly. Your cancellation rights follow the session: if you move it to a time less than 48 hours away, it becomes non-refundable from that moment, and if you move it further out your refund deadline moves with it. If your COACH moves the session, it never reduces the refund you would have been entitled to.

Cancellations. Cancel more than 48 hours before the session and you receive a full refund to your original payment method — Sanva returns its own commission as well, so you get back everything you paid. Cancel within 48 hours of the session, or do not attend (a no-show), and no refund is issued — your coach reserved that time and is paid in full for it. Your coach may still choose to offer a refund or a replacement session at their discretion.

If your coach cancels. You receive a full refund regardless of timing, issued automatically at the moment they cancel, and your coach must give a reason which we pass on to you. Repeated coach-initiated cancellations may lead to a review of that coach's account.

Refunds are issued through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer. Payment processing fees are absorbed by Sanva — you always receive the full session fee back on an eligible refund. Subscription plans are covered separately under Subscription & Billing above. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU law. Questions or disputes: support@sanva.app.

5. Content & Programs

All programs, articles, and content on Sanva are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Sanva content without written permission. Content is provided for informational purposes and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise or nutrition programme.

6. Coaching Services

Coaches on Sanva are independent professionals. Sanva facilitates the connection and provides the tools, but is not responsible for the specific advice given during coaching sessions. Before a coach can accept bookings we require them to complete Stripe identity verification and connect a calendar. We do not review, verify, or endorse their credentials, qualifications, or coaching advice, and any certifications shown on a profile are self-reported unless explicitly marked as verified. You are responsible for satisfying yourself that a coach is suitable for your needs. Sessions are booked and paid for separately from your subscription.

7. Community Conduct

The Sanva community is built on mutual respect. You may not post or share content that is abusive, discriminatory, misleading, or harmful. Sanva reserves the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards, without prior notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Sanva platform are the property of Sanva or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any Sanva intellectual property without our express written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sanva shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to Sanva in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Sanva may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and requesting account deletion. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which Sanva is registered. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
